Do You Really *Need* a Website?
REAL TALK. It’s time we have a real conversation on websites.
Let me start out by saying that you don’t “need” a website. I know plenty of coaches who have hit 6 figures in their business without one.
Here’s the catch though… while you don’t “need” a website to hit $10k+ months…
Having a website that’s strategic, intentionally designed + conveys your unique message, will make creating a wildly successful 6+ figure business 10x EASIER.
Although I could go on and on about this, for the sake of this post, here are the two biggest reasons why having a website can be really f*cking powerful.
1. YOU CAN TURN YOUR TRAFFIC INTO SUBSCRIBERS.
I want you to really be honest with yourself here. What would happen to your business if Instagram decides to delete your account?
If your only source of clients is social media, then it would probably be scary AF.
Here's where having a website can be so powerful. It allows you to capture traffic from multiple sources, keep them there, and add them to your email list through your opt-in or funnel, which is HUGE when you want to scale your business.
Because here's the thing... You own your list. You have direct access to those emails. And you know that whenever you send out an email those people will receive in it their inbox, whether they open it or not that's a different story.
On the other hand, on average Instagram only shows your posts to 3-6% of your followers. That means if you have 1,000 followers, approximately 30-60 people will see them. Ouch right?
The tip here is to create a website that you can redirect your audience from Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc, so they can learn more about working with you and subscribe to your list.
2. IT BUILDS YOUR CREDIBILITY
Your soulmate clients need to TRUST you, and your IG bio isn't cutting it.
Let me put it this way, who are you more willing to buy from:
❌ Someone with a vague bio + inconsistent feed?
✔ Or someone with a magnetic brand, clear message, and website that STANDS OUT?
Having an intentional + strategically designed website not only BUILDS your credibility, but it also positions you as the Expert.
This makes all the difference between someone who is ready to invest before they hop on the phone with you, or having to do ALL the work on the call + navigating a gazillion objections, because they're not clear on who you are or how you can help them.
So if you don't have a website that's booking out your programs with soulmate clients consistently, you have 2 options:
