The 5 Questions you Need to Answer on your Website

Your website is your online home and the first thing your clients will see. First impressions here are crucial!

Which is why it’s so key you’re answering the following 5 questions on your website, so it’s clear to your ideal clients that you’re the right person for them.

Want to know what they are?

1. WHO ARE YOU?

This is very simple, but sometimes so overlooked.

Yes, your website is NOT about you, it’s about your ideal clients and how you can serve them. But… They also want to know you.

Your website gives them a taste of who you are and what it would be like to work with you. And of course, this matters as we want to work with people we vibe with on a soul level, so make sure you’re showcasing your personality + unique gifts on your website.

Here are some questions you want to answer for this question:

  • What are you + your brand all about?

  • What is your mission?

  • What is your purpose?

  • What do you believe in? Aka what’s the hill you’re willing to die on?

2. WHAT DO YOU DO?

Okay babe, I’m going to be really real with you here. As much as you love calling yourself a goddess activation guide, no one knows what the fuck that is.

It might sound cute, but it’s really not helping you sell out + fill up your programs.

People want clarity, so what it is you do exactly?

Be CLEAR and keep it concise.

Here’s what you want to do for this section:

  • When someone lands on your website can they immediately tell what you do? Do this by adding your Brand Statement above the fold or immediately below so they can tell if they’re in the right place without having to scroll through your whole website to figure it out (no ones got time for that).

  • Not sure what a Brand Statement is? No worries, I created a whole blog post about it - How to Craft Your Brand Statement. Check it out here.

3. WHO DO YOU HELP?

Who is your dream client?

  • What do they like? Dislike?

  • What are their biggest challenges + pain points?

  • What keeps them up at night?

  • What do they desire the most?

  • What’s their vision?

  • What do they NEED right now?

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again… You NEED to know your ideal client like the back of your hand.

This is crucial for when you’re writing your website copy, because your content needs to speak to their soul.

When your soulmate client lands on your website, they should immediately feel like they’ve finally been heard, that they’re home because you get them so well.

Not only does this build trust, but it convinces them that you’re the right person to help them.

4. HOW DO YOU HELP THEM?

Please please please… don’t skip this step.

Your website is meant to SELL. Therefore, you need to be clear with your offers so when someone lands on your site, they can immediate go to your work with me page and see if there’s an offer that’s right for them.

When it comes to your offers you want to make sure your clear with:

  • What’s included

  • Who it’s for

  • What is the end result / transformation they’ll have by joining this program

  • Testimonials

  • Timeline

  • Price (this one is optional)

5. WHY YOU?

Last but not least, one of the most important questions is why should they choose you?

There’s so many other people doing the “same” thing as you, but no one else can do what you do just the way do you do it.

So what is your je ne sais quoi?

  • What makes working with you unique / different?

  • What is the experience they’ll have working with you?

  • What's your superpower? What are your unique gifts?

Really showcase all of this through your branding + copy, so your ideal client knows that you’re the only one for them.

And that’s it! Pretty simple right?

If you have a website make sure you’re answering these 5 key questions.

Have any questions? Leave them in the comments!
